Senior Web Developer

Description

We are seeking senior PHP developers for exciting web development projects. The developers will work with the team to conceptualize, develop and customize web-based applications i.e. e-Commerce websites, Content Management Systems, Intranet etc. Candidates will work collaboratively with developers under a project lead. Ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of development experience, high technical aptitude, a positive team player attitude, and be excited and ready to be challenged technically and grow overall technical skills.

A degree in computers (or similar concentration) or equivalent educational background. Candidates must have 1-3 years of PHP experience, including experience in the following:

Qualifications

A degree in computers (or similar concentration) or equivalent educational background. Candidates must have at least 1 year of PHP experience, including experience in the following:

• Customizing Content Management Systems, i.e. MODX, Word Press, PHP Nuke, TYPO3 etc.
• High-traffic PHP environments
• Role Management
• PHP, SQL (specifically MySQL), JavaScript and AJAX
• Integrating Payment Gateways, i.e. Paypal
• Developing e-Commerce Solutions
• Debugging live applications
• Object Oriented Concepts within PHP
• Writing modular, documented and efficient code

Required Skills

PHP, MySQL, SQL, XML, XHTML, JavaScript, AJAX

Candidates should be ready to provide code examples demonstrating their level of skill and organization upon request.
